The Story

Eierfarben = Egg colours.

We eat a lot of boiled eggs in Germany, especially at Easter. In the run up to Easter one can buy entire trays of coloured hard boiled eggs (that's like 30 eggs). I wasn't entirely sure what one would do with entire trays of eggs but I googled it and one can apparently keep a boiled eggs in the fridge for up to 5 weeks as long as the shell is not cracked. You learn something new every day.

You can now colour your own eggs with these classic Eierfarben, simply dissolve each tablet in 250ml hot water with 2Tablespoons of vinegar and dip your warm, boiled eggs for 5 minutes. You can keep in mono-colour or go creative with several overlapping colours. if you oil the eggs afterwards you get a nice sheen on them.

Contains five colours: Yellow, Orange, Red, Green and Blue
Made from food colourings.
